Behind the scenes

Over the last three years my partners at Montreal Start Up and I have been meeting regularly with government officials, members of the academic and business communities and pretty much anyone else who’d listen, in order to make them aware of the grassroots Web start-up community that had emerged in Montreal and of the importance of supporting such developments. It required a lot of time and effort but I can tell things are starting to move because increasingly, officials reach out to us wanting to learn more, rather than us struggling to get appointments to see them.  And that’s good news, because the support of all three levels of government, as well as that of the business community, will be needed to make Notman House a reality.
